8 salvation responses and highest ever attendance at City Church, Bristol
Adrian Holloway on March 4, 2012 with 0 CommentsNo exaggeration, there were about 30 people who didn’t get a seat at City Church, Bristol this morning during the worship! There wasn’t even standing room! There were 9 people baptised, and then I preached on John 3:16, after which 8 people responded for salvation. Pastor Simon Walker told me afterwards it was easily the highest Sunday attendance in the church’s history.
I had the great privilege of leading someone to Christ myself at the end of the meeting. The previous day I spoke at Hope Baptist Church, in Plymouth as part of our South West Front Edge weekend, with my great friends Lex Loizides from Cape Town, South Africa, and Paul Brown from City Hope Church, Bermondsey. We were hosted by Waterfront City Church, Plymouth who did a great job putting on the conference. I’ve heard great things about the guest services in Plymouth and also at Honiton this morning, but more details to follow.
