I really enjoyed my first ever visit to Lowestoft Community Church on Sunday. I did an equipping in evangelism talk at their 9.00am and 11.00am meetings. Everyone was very kind to me, and made me feel very welcome. I drove up the night before and stayed with Mike & Mary Ramsay, who were great hosts.
After morning church, I was treated to a superb lunch afterwards at a restaurant on the beach with Ben Parish, who leads the church, and Mike Betts, who leads Relational Mission, the newfrontiers “sphere” which has built up over the years around Mike, who handed leadership of LCC over to Ben last year. We talked about LCC’s evangelistic strategy as the waves literally pounded the shore behind us. It was one of those happy days when everything seemed to go well!
