The John 3:16 Trust will re-locate to Camberley
Adrian Holloway on June 14, 2020 with 0 CommentsWe have some exciting news to share: The John 3:16 Trust is re-locating to Camberley in Surrey! I will continue to travel around the UK, preaching the gospel, inviting people to follow Jesus for the 1st time, equipping the saints, praying for the sick, defending the faith, seeking to answer the best objections to Christianity, speaking at Carol Services and consulting with churches to shape up their evangelistic strategy etc, but I will do so, based at the Beacon Church, Camberley, where I will lead the team, on a part-time basis.
Andrew Booth has invited me to take over his part-time role on staff and as the lead elder at the Beacon. Andrew will remain as an elder at the Beacon, but has asked to step down from his staff role. It’s a great honour for me to be asked by Andrew, Chris Mackinlay and Tim Chapman, the three elders at the church, and the trustees to serve the Beacon as lead elder.
As a family we are renting a house in Frimley, Surrey. We are sad to be leaving Everyday Church, Wimbledon after 5 years, and also to be moving on from Fulham, where we’ve made so many good friends over the past 16 years.
During lockdown, I have shared this news confidentially with all the supporters of The John 3:16 Trust. Meanwhile, Julia & I have been getting to know the staff and trustees at the Beacon, where the news was announced this evening.
It’s a new chapter of life for all 6 of us, but especially, for our two youngest girls who will start at a new school (hopefully!) in September.
