This was an apologetics lunchbar in a series called “The Big Question”. The format is a 20 minute talk followed by live Q & A. Although I’ve done this 100s of times at universities around the UK, this was my first ever event of this nature online. The talk was pre-recorded (pictured) and the Q & A was on zoom. As I’ve always found, students at Durham are typically closer to Christian faith, with a higher proportion having some kind of background or prior knowledge and experience. It was a very strange experience to have my 18 year old nephew watching. He’s a first year at University College, Durham (Castle). It was 33 years ago that I was in his shoes.
