16 people who told us they were not part of any church, prayed a salvation response prayer when I spoke at Jubilee Community Church, East Grinstead this morning. It was a great baptismal service and a superb turn out. I brought a new message out of Luke 24 working through the discovery of the empty tomb by some of Jesus’ women followers, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James etc and then Peter. And then Jesus’ resurrection appearance saying “peace be with you.” I felt like I was really able to get into both the cross and the resurrection with the help of the Holy Spirit. There were a couple of ‘pin drop’ moments, especially in the invitation to respond at the end. It was 3 years ago that I was last with these guys, and I’m delighted that our long partnership has continued right up to today. Very grateful for the invitation to Dan & Hannah Baptist who lead the church.
