10 people saying yes to Jesus in Stoke

10 people who said they are not part of any church prayed a salvation response prayer when I spoke at Grace Church, Stoke on Trent’s Carol Service on Sunday afternoon, and an additional 4, also not church, did not pray the prayer, but said that they wanted to know more about Christianity. Some of those responding positively didn’t leave enough contact details for the church to follow up their response, which is a shame, but I will be praying for all 10 of them! This was a wonderful conclusion to a great Carol Service. This is a church who first invited me to speak at their Carol Service 5 years ago, and it’s not been possible until now. And they had done an amazing job of making their city centre converted warehouse look Christmassy. The choir and band were tremendous. The performance song was brilliant, and there was a real feel-good factor throughout, and I sensed a very strong connection to the congregation, especially in the first of my three talks. Huge thanks to Jez and Bex Chalmers who made my visit possible and looked after me admirably during and after the event. I thank God for answered prayers and for the privilege of being involved.
