On Saturday morning, I led a half-day of training for the church. The questions reflected the fact that most people present were sharing the gospel and living amongst those of other world faiths. There were no questions related to atheism. The room was full and it was great to see so many eager to hear more and there was good engagement with quite technical material I went through regarding the authority and historicity and reliable transmission of the Bible. We investigated non-biblical corroboration and several 1st and 2nd century non-canonical documents. I went straight through afterwards into the main auditorium to preach the Russian service, where for the only time on the trip I preached first and then prayed for the sick afterwards.
