4 people who told us they were not part of any church, prayed a salvation response prayer when I spoke at King’s Church, Harrow on Sunday morning, 17th December. This is a church that has supported The John 3:16 Trust for many years, but I’d never actually been there before! Planted back in 1982 out of a church in Watford, they’ve been involved in planting others since. Just a few weeks ago they relocated from a school to the Salvation Army building in South Harrow, and I was really impressed. This building looks like it’s just been redecorated, and I couldn’t understand why the Salvation Army aren’t using it on a Sunday morning. But I was told that their numbers are so small post Covid that they no longer need such a big space for Sunday services. Anyway it was great to be with pastor David Straughton and Sheldon Allen, my host. Everyone made me feel tremendously welcome.
